Our records indicate that we first met to form the SAOBA in March 1996, with our inaugural dinner taking place later that same year in September. May we therefore, take this opportunity to thank and congratulate each and every one of you, original or more recent members, for your contribution during these past 18 years!
18 years ago we had no SAOBA website, no SAOBA ties, Mr Hester was Headmaster and we never dreamed we’d see the school being completely replaced!
SAOBA have been contacted by the daughter of the late Mr Barry Butler, former Head of Business Studies, who passed away last year. She is would be fascinated to hear from from anyone Barry taught during his time at St Ambrose – especially those now in successful business positions.

The Official Opening and Blessing of the New College DVD will shortly be on sale at the School Office. At a cost of £5, the DVD makes a wonderful keepsake of such a memorable occasion.
Old Boys may either pop into the College while stocks last or alternatively order by email office@st-ambrosecollege.org.uk adding £2.50 for postage. A DVD will then be reserved and posted once the cheque is received at Reception.
The Committee would like to invite all Old Boys and friends to an informal evening of Christmas drinks at the Railway pub in Hale on December 20th 2012, 7pm.
In addition, save the date for next year’s Dinner – Saturday November 9th 2013.
